Paradise Valley is one of the valley’s premier tourist destinations and is overflowing with luxury. While some may define the borders differently, we consider Paradise Valley real estate as the area south of Shea, west of North Scottsdale, north of Echo Canyon Park and east of the Phoenix Mountain Reserve.
Some of the most expensive homes in Arizona are found in this area. Home options are mainly luxury condominiums and single-family homes, on an acre or more, in upscale neighborhoods. Many of the homes were built before the 90s, so you will find many that have been remodeled or completely rebuilt.
There are sprawling estates built on Camelback Mountain that offer beautiful views of the city, large open spaces and a rural ambiance. You’ll also find golf lot homes that border Camelback Golf Club, Mountain Shadow Golf Course or Paradise Valley Country Club. The area is served by the Scottsdale School Unified School District and offers several exclusive private school options.
Besides the many golf courses available in the area, Paradise Valley real estate offers other outdoor opportunities from hiking, rock climbing and biking at nearby Camelback Mountain or Piestewa Peak. You can also walk, bike or rollerblade on the nearby 15 mile multi-use pathway of Scottsdale Greenbelt, which will take you all the way to Tempe Town Lake. The lake offers many water activities, like boating, kayaking and fishing.
If you’re in the mood for shopping or fine dining, the Biltmore Shopping Center, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall and the Shops at Gainey Ranch will have many upscale stores and restaurants to choose from. You can enjoy full service spa treatments or play a round of tennis at The Phoenician, JW Marriott, Sanctuary Resort, and many other resorts around the Paradise Valley area.
The Loop 101 freeway is close by and the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is only 15-20 minutes away.
